Merry Christmas Eve dear friends! Please join us today as we remember Jesus and how the little baby born in a manger so long ago still has everlasting power for us today!
Today’s devotion by Susan Pons
The Word became flesh…and dwelt among us. (John 1:14)
What an unthinkable happening! Jesus, the Word, took on the garment of the flesh and dwelt among us!
He still does…! Each and every moment of our lives!
So what happens when the Word becomes flesh in our lives?
Perhaps it is something as simple as a smile, a kind word, or an encouragement.
Maybe the Word becomes flesh when we help lift a burden, to give instead of receive; to forgive a fault; to lay our life down for a friend.
Jesus becomes flesh in our lives when we seek Him, the living Word.
Today, I pray that the Word will become flesh in our homes, the Body of Christ, and in you and me.
Jesus, O living Word of God,
Wash me and cleanse me with Your blood So You can speak to me.
Just let me hear Your words of grace, Just let me see Your radiant face, Beholding constantly.
Jesus, living Word, My heart thirsts for Thee; Of Thee I’d eat and drink, Enjoy Thee thoroughly.
Jesus, most precious One to me, I want to seek You constantly So you can spread through me.
How can the Word became flesh in your Christmas this year? Please respond below we would love to hear from you!
