Please join us as we proclaim the perfect LOVE of God! Today we claim the gift of PATIENCE as it relates to His command to love.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” – 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“Love is not something you describe with adjectives; love is something you describe with verbs because love is only described, it is not defined. Love is only love when it acts. And that’s the way it’s presented in the Word of God. So the Bible never defines love, it only describes it. And the description here is most beautiful. In every one of the fifteen perfections of love in verses 4 to 7, there are fifteen different perfections of love to fill out its description, but in every one of them, a verb is acting.” -John MacArthur

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is PATIENT toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” -2 Peter 3:9

Thank You Father God that You are PATIENT with us! (2 Peter 3:9)

Thank You Father God that when we ask for help in the area of PATIENCE, You will give it to us! (Matthew 7:7)

Thank You Father God that through Your Holy Spirit we can be PATIENT in all trials and tribulation!  (Romans 12:12)

Thank You Father God – that through Your Holy Spirit we can, with all humility and gentleness and with PATIENCE, relate with one another in love! (Ephesians 4:2)
