Where can we find our Lord and Savior?
Welcome, from all of us at Christian Training Center International. Please join us this morning as we read and ponder this devotion written by Susan Pons about seeking the Lord with all of our heart. We have a promise from the Lord that He will be found if we seek Him with all our heart, so don’t give up – keep seeking until you find Him! Genuinely: Pray, ask, talk to God, be in Scripture daily with full focus.
“I will seek the one I love.” I sought him, but I did not find him. The watchmen who go about the city found me; I said, “Have you seen the one I love?” (Song of Solomon 3:3 NKJV).
I love this scripture. It parallels with the verse from Jeremiah 29:13: You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.
The maiden in the Song of Solomon was searching for her beloved everywhere! She was so determined to find him, she felt no reserve at all to ask the watchmen if they had seen him. Sometimes, in this life span of ours, we hear the call, “Seek Me!” There is a tremendous cost to this calling because it requires all of our heart! This is truly the road less traveled. Yet, in our days and times, it seems there is this urgency to seek the One we have loved. Perhaps God is preparing and teaching us to be in that position of seeking Him for the days to come.
Here at CTCI, we as a staff, meet together in the morning and devote a time of Scripture study to the Lord. Then, we plan the day. It’s one of many disciplines that keep us accountable to a life in Christ. If you attend a program here you will be encouraged to participate daily in all the disciplines that help us maintain a Christ-centered life. Many people come to our ministry for a set apart time with the Lord to seek Him and His will for their lives. We host pastors, missionaries, couples, and young adults, and we have various programs and events throughout the year.
