Will we wait for Jesus?

Wait for Jesus

God’s Best Work

It is Holy Saturday. Jesus is in the tomb.

What do we do?

We wait.

We have remember the passion of our Master Jesus, the Messiah. We remember His suffering to pay the price for our missing God’s goal. And we wait some more. Joy will come from our waiting.

We don’t like to wait. We aren’t patient.

There are days where waiting on Jesus is the right thing to do. Soon Jesus will burst through in power and glory. Can we not wait for that to happen?

Jesus is in the tomb and we wait. On the next day we will celebrate His great triumph but today we wait.

Joy will reveal itself in our waiting.

So today, we wait. Just as they waited after that fateful day so long ago.

The women who had been companions of Jesus from Galilee followed along. They saw the tomb where Jesus’ body was placed. Then they went back to prepare burial spices and perfumes. They rested quietly on the Sabbath, as commanded. Luke 23:55-56 (The Message Bible)

Our programs are like an immersion into a new language – the language of living in Jesus.  The goal is fluency in the language of relationships.  Programs share a sequential vision, building an understanding of relationships and family culture.  The foundation is an encounter with Jesus.  This encounter is the means for both insight and vision.  Encountering Jesus leads a radical change in living and relationships.
