It is time to shout out in great joy! Try this every day or even several times a day. Seriously … it will make a difference.
This is a stunning story in Luke 19. Here is the challenge after you read this scripture.
Try this with children. They get it. They will drop to their knees and do it in a heartbeat. Try it with a 4 year old and see.
This is for all of us. The adults, seeing Jesus triumphant as King, were not embarrassed.
So …. please try this!
- Close your eyes.
- Raise your hands to heaven.
- Shout, at the top of your voice something like this. The words should be yours but shout it out!
- King Jesus!
- Thank you for all your miracles!
- You are so amazingly beautiful!
- May peace spread among us today!
Here is the truth. This happened (Luke 19). Why don’t you try this every day? Where is the joy? Don’t I believe the good news of Jesus, my King?
As He rode along, people were spreading their coats on the road as an act of homage before a king. As soon as He was approaching Jerusalem, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the entire multitude of the disciples all those who were or claimed to be His followers began praising God adoring Him enthusiastically and joyfully with loud voices for all the miracles and works of power that they had seen, shouting,
“Blessed (celebrated, praised) is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory (beauty, majesty and splendor) in the highest heaven!”
Some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples for shouting these Messianic praises.” Jesus replied, “I tell you, if these people keep silent, the stones will cry out in praise!”
So … how did the shout out feel? Better I am thinking!

The most effective way to learn a foreign language is through immersion. In complete immersion, students spend all their time hearing and speaking a new language in a sequential and cumulative format. The goal is to become not only a proficient speaker, but to acquire an appreciation and understanding of a new culture. This approach describes the training process at CTCI.
Our programs are like an immersion into a new language – the language of living in Jesus. The goal is fluency in the language of relationships. Programs share a sequential vision, building an understanding of relationships and family culture. The foundation is an encounter with Jesus. This encounter is the means for both insight and vision. Encountering Jesus leads a radical change in living and relationships.
