It is noteworthy that Jesus never engages in theological discussions or debates. Jesus is our King and Messiah, not head theologian. Jesus calls us to follow Him. It is that simple. We are to be disciples (learners). Our learning is experiential not theoretical.

  1. If theology is the study of God then I do think Jesus did discuss theology though I imagine you are talking about highly speculative, academic and even arrogant “theologizing” being a problem and if so that I agree with you with that concern!
